Do you offer a free consultation?
Yes, I do! You can schedule a free 20-minute consultation by emailing me at julie@juliesteincounseling.com.
What is your cancellation policy?
I require 24 hours’ notice prior to a cancellation to avoid being charged for the missed session.
Do you accept insurance?
I am not in network with insurance but will provide you with a superbill so you can seek reimbursement directly with your insurance company. I am a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC), and it is your responsibility to check with your insurance prior to meeting with me so that you know what/how much will be covered.
When you call, here are some questions you may want to ask. You may need my NPI #1326697152.
- Does my health insurance plan include mental health benefits?
- Does my plan cover outpatient individual or couples therapy with a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC)?
- Do I have out-of-network benefits for those services?
- Do I have a deductible for out-of-network mental health services? How much have I met toward that deductible?
- What is my copay or what percentage (“co-insurance”) do I pay when seeing a mental health provider who is out-of-network?
- How many sessions does my plan cover in a year? How many sessions do I have left?
- Do I need pre-authorization or a referral from my primary care provider?
- What is the process to get reimbursed for out-of-network services?
Where do our sessions take place?
At the moment, all sessions are done as a secure video call. I am currently exploring having a physical office space part-time to accommodate clients who would prefer to meet in-person.
Do you provide a Good Faith Estimate?
You have the right to a Good Faith Estimate and I’m happy to provide one.
