Simple, transparent pricing. No surprises.
Session fees
- Individual therapy (50 minutes): $200
- Couples counseling (75 minutes): $275
- Discernment counseling (1 - 5 sessions)
- Session 1 (2 hours): $400
- Sessions 2 - 5 (75 minutes): $275
I do have a few sliding scale spots available; feel free to ask me about that during our initial consultation.
Payment is due at the time of session. Credit, debit, and HSA/FSA cards are accepted. The Client Portal supports configuring AutoPay to simplify the payment experience.
Insurance
I am an out-of-network provider. Many clients receive partial reimbursement through their plan's out-of-network benefits.
How out-of-network reimbursement works
- You pay for each session at the time of service
- I provide a monthly superbill (a detailed receipt)
- You submit it to your insurance, and if your plan includes out-of-network benefits, they reimburse you directly
Questions to ask your insurance
Not sure what your plan covers? Call the number on your insurance card and ask: When you call, here are some questions you may want to ask. You may need my NPI #: 1326697152.
- Does my health insurance plan include mental health benefits?
- Does my plan cover outpatient individual or couples therapy with a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC)?
- Do I have out-of-network benefits for those services?
- Do I have a deductible for out-of-network mental health services? How much have I met toward that deductible?
- What is my copay or what percentage (“co-insurance”) do I pay when seeing a mental health provider who is out-of-network?
- How many sessions does my plan cover in a year? How many sessions do I have left?
- Do I need pre-authorization or a referral from my primary care provider?
- What is the process to get reimbursed for out-of-network services?
Why I work outside insurance networks
Working outside insurance means:
- your care is decided by you and me - not a claims reviewer
- you have more privacy: no diagnosis needs to be filed with your insurer
Policies
Cancellations
Life happens. Please give at least 24 hours' notice to avoid a late fee (full session fee).
Telehealth
Sessions happen over a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform. All you need is a private space, a device with a camera, and a reasonable internet connection.
